This large parcel is located at mile 27 of the Western Highway in central Belize. The topography is flat and elevation is 104 ft(32M) above sea level which keeps in high and dry. This parcel is mostly jungle (high bush). The land is in its natural state with 2 km (1.25 miles) of highway frontage and is approximately 5 km (3.2 mi) deep. The main power line runs along the highway which can supply electric.
The location is ideal for commerce as it is central to all business centres in Belize and many attractions as it is the midway point between Belize’s largest city and its capital Belmopan both less than 30 minutes drive. The Belize zoo is 3km(2 mi) west and is a wonderful example of a park in its natural state with indigenous animals in small enclosures that maintain the natural habitat. Another minute drive west is the Coastal Highway entrance that leads to the Hummingbird highway; the gateway to southern Belize. The Coastal Highway is set to be paved, shortly, making the trip to Dangriga, Hopkins, Placencia and southern Belize much easier and quicker. To the east we have Democracia followed by Hattieville before reaching Belize city 15 minutes towards the coast. The drive north to Mexico is approximately 2 hrs. San Ignacio is just over an hour drive west.
The potential for farming is great. The land is flat with good soil and access to market could not be better with the largest markets less than a 1 hour drive. The same qualities make it ideal for a jungle resort or retreat with ample room for any plan or imagination and close proximity to the international airport 30 minutes east.
