Less than 3 miles north of this property is More Tomorrow; a small village along the Belize River in the Cayo District of Belize. Being over 266 years old, it is the oldest recognized village in all of Belize. The village is most known for its agriculture, primarily citrus and sugar cane farming. The community is small and has a rural feel, with most of the residents engaged in farming and other agricultural activities. The area around More Tomorrow is also known for its natural beauty, with rolling hills, lush forests, and opportunities for outdoor activities.

About 12 miles to the south is the capital city of Belize: Belmopan, a small city of 26,000 people that is home to the University of Belize and is the heart of the Belizean Government. Belmopan has a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, with great opportunities to hike, and birdwatch in the areas surrounding the city.
